The St. Lucia 101 tour is the iSimangaliso birding Route's first introductory tour to the town of St. Lucia at the extreme southern edge of the iSimangaliso wetland Park includes the following activities as a minimum

1) the Gwala Gwala walking trail with a walk to the beach and estuary mouth
2) The Butterfly house and other activities at Manukelana Art and Nursery
3) A boat trip along the St. Lucia estuary with a qualified guide
4) A walk in the Dukuduku forest to enjoy what is left of the forest.
