An Ezine is the new age electronic version of a magazine, which is delivered to you via email. These publications are becoming more popular as they are usually very specific and aimed at a niche market, and contain information which has been requested by the client base. The advertising within Ezines is mostly directly related to the topic of discussion, and as such is also very targeted.

An Ezine is a great marketing and advertising tool, and the isimangaliso MINI BIRDING ROUTE  will take full advantage of this by publishing a weekly Ezine which will be mailed to a subscriber base. This ezine or electronic magazine will be used as a source of revenue for isimangaliso Birding as those who wish to place adverts with in the pages of this ezine will be paying for the privilege of having their adverts within the pages of the ezine. This Ezine will also be a very important part of our marketing strategy, as we will be discussing the hides and available facilities at each hide in detail, focusing on the things birders want to know about, such as :
bulletcosts, 
bulletavailability, 
bulletwhat birds are present at what tome of the year, 
bulletthe best times to visit each hide,  
bulletwhere to stay when visiting our area, 
bulletwho is the best birding guide, 
bulletwhich birding guides cover which areas 

These are just the basics, as the ezine evolves and we discover exactly what our viewers want to read about the costs will increase and so will the income from advertising within the ezine. This may take up to one year to get properly functional and start showing a profit.
