isimangaliso Birding route is currently in the formation stages and we envisage this project to be a major attraction within the Elephant Coast and the Greater St. Lucia wetlands park.

This project came about when it was realized just how little the local population participate within the tourism industry of the area. This project will involve the population directly in the tourism industry, as they will be supplying the services at all the hides along the route and will also be expected to interact with the tourists directly when the tourists visit their properties where the birding facilities will be located.
